Second stop is Bludenz..

After Vienna, I would like visit my cousin who lives in Bludenz, Austria. I took really early train because, I wanted to reach my spot at an early time. Because, if I don`t go somewhere before, I prefer to go earlier. Bludenz takes about 6-7 hours from Vienna but I could reach in 9 hours because of bad weather conditions. However, It was a good journey because seeing mountains and passing thourought them was awesome.

My cousin and her family greeted me at the train station. It was a perfect feeling because we haven`t seen each other for about ten years! Also she is a perfect cook :)

Now, as in my Vienna post, I took daily notes about Bludenz.

• Ohhhh my God! Waking up at the Alps is a perfect fealing. It is peaceful and strong. You feel yourself like an ant when see the mountains. Can you see Switzerland behind it? :)

• We went to center with my cousin and city center is quite cute:) 
• The interesting fact is that for me, I always know that Milka`s factory is in Switzerland but not, it`s in Nüziders region of Bludenz. You should go to factory shop to buy cheap chocolate. You will lose yourself inside. :) 

Delicious ha? 

• Also they fill Red Bull cans in here also. Too big responsibilities in such a small city. 
• The city center is small and cute. There are a few shops in the center and every shops closes at an early time. When you go Bludenz you need to be quick to get buy your stuff.

• Today it was the day of tasting traditional dish of the region named Käse Spätzle. It`s like a pasta but the structure of the dish a little different than pasta.

You need to prepare this mixture and filter it with that equipment. if you are interested to cook, you can mail me friends so that I can take the recipe from my cousin. 

Boilt it.

Put the pieces in the plate and add cheese on it. Make 3 or 4 layers like this. Cook onion and put on top. 

You need to cook all of them for 10 minutes, there it is :D It`s easy to prepare and delicious.

• We went to Feldkirch today. It is the biggest town of Bludenz region. The town is like the movie town. In some European movies you see cute, small, peaceful towns, Feldkirch is the one of them I guess. Even if it is a small town, there is an art gallery in it. That`s awesome.

• The other beautiful thing about this town is Schattenburg, which means Shadow Castle. I really tried hard to find why it`s name is Shadow Castle but I couldn`t find. Maybe in German files you can find my friends but I don`t know German so I`m really curious. If you can find the reason please tell me too. The castle has a church inside, at that times knights stayed and lived there and there is a museum of old maps, knight equipments and so on. The building is really good. On top of the castle you can see the town, the view is amazing.

• The other good thing in this town is, there is one another museum. However, I couldn`t visit because it was closed at that day.

• Today at the first time of my life, I wanted snow board. Bludenz is the winter sports center. We traveled around the ski places today and we went to barrage. They produce electricity in here. The ski places are perfect here. Lots of body visit this place for winter sports. All the equipments are really cheap. But you should know that you cannot hire clothes. You need to buy or have already. 

It was a snowy day so the photos are not so clear.

Today I packed my things, we visited my cousins friend. I had really early train to Basel. I was really really exited about Basel because of art. There are lots of galleries and museums inBasel. I was busy to see art, that`s why I delay writing my new post. :)

So, all finished about Bludenz my friends. My stay there was peaceful, it was good to be with family. In summer time I will visit here again because of weather conditions I couldn`t see lakes. When I revisit here I will keep you updated :D You should know this, if you like winter sports you need to visit Bludenz, it`s perfect! Also chocolate every where :D

First stop of my journey is Vienna...

When I first decided to start my journey, everything happened so fast. I bought mz ticket, visited my mother, meet my frineds, packed my things and now I`m here.

At the day 19.01.2012 my journey has started physically. It was a snowy day so we got stuck a little in our site but I reached the airport pon time anyway.

At the plane, I was a little nervous because of the weather and also I have flight fear. However, when the plane took off I got releived because my dream journey has started:)) After 2 hours, I got in Vienna.

Vienna is a strange and a cute city, also it smells like a vanilla because of bakery. Its shape is like a snail. When you hit the road, sometimes you get lost but sometimes you reach the spot where you begin. People here are really friendly and happy, most importantly they speak English.

Yesterday I left Vienna but I took daily notes. Now I will write what happened in the past five days of my stay.

- Pumpkin Soup (Kurbis Zuppe): We had dinner with my friends. They told me that, people use pumpkin too much to  prepare food. It was creamy and delicious and tastes like lentil soup. You should try it fellas because new tastes are important when you visit a new place:))

- Visited some art galleries which were good. Especially young artists are really talented.
- Irish Pub: I had first racist act. Racism is really stupid and funny especially in Austria because they speak German, they eat too much pizza but somehow they are racist :) These kind of acts are too unnecessary for me I am a hybrid person like lots of body.

- Flea Market: On saturdays there is a flea market in Vienna in a very large carpark area. It starts at 5 am! Can you imagine??!! People visit the market at an early times of a day to buy the good things. You can find everything at the market. At the end of the day, sellers leave the goods for the homeless. This is perfect!

Today was a busy day. I visited the palaces. But if you ask me what you like most, I liked the ice skating area in front of the palace and Museums Quertier Wien. Before this place, I saw the balcony where Hitler talked but not interesting :)

-Museums Quertier Wien: This place is really really awesome for art lovers like me. In the complex you can find museums, independent art areas, designer shops, offices and houses. It would be perfect to live there. If I move Vienna, I definately live there or have my gallery inside the complex or both :)

• This is the square of the Quertier. My friend says, everybody hanging around during summer.

• Rules of the Quertier. Check the rule under the logos, it`s the funniest :)

• This part is for young artists to have exhibitions.



•  You can see exhibitions even at the corridors! Isn`t it perfect? :) I want a place in Turkey like this tooooo!!!!

- Ice Skating: This place is just perfect! Everybody come here to skate with their families. It`s in front of the palace`s park. You can skate, eat, drink and listen music from Radio Wien.

• Don`t forget drink punch in here. Especially try raspberry punch :) 

• They call this place `Wiener Eistraum` means `Viennese Icedream`when you are enjoying the place you like an ice queen :))

- Got lost!!  As I mentioned before, because of the structure of the city sometimes you get lost. I started walking in the center, passed the river and I got lost! But it was really funny. I saw ceramic factory. While I was walking, I said on my own: `Road! Pease take me somewhere important. After saying this, I turned the corner and then go straight and it was there! Sigmund Freud Museum :D



   In Vienna you can find free postcards everywhere. When I got is this;

Passport of Austria. I will let you know what can you do with this passport :)

• You can smoke in closed areas.
• Have metro lines U1,U2,U3,U4 and U6 but not U5 :) Because, while they are having the line, they found something precious so they stopped digging :)
• You can have a weely metro ticket but you can start to use it on mondays in other days you can`t. Isn`t it strange? I got my ticket on Thursday but I couldn`t use it before Monday.
• You can find free newspapers everywhere. People likes to read in Vienna. I blended in and tried to read the newspapers - I Don`t know German - I only understood that Heidi got divorsed :) I understood that because I saw the word `Via Twitter`in celeb. news if you see Via Twitter it means that something wrong :) And I was right! She got dävorsed:)
• Having changeable wheather. In an hour you can see sun,rain and snow.
• Having clean toilets everywhere, even in Irish Pubs. You cannot find clean toilets in Turkey and also toilet paper all the time if the venue is not luxury.
• You can steal things at the shops because no one can touch you only police can touch you. If you able to run, you can steal things:) But don`t! Be honost!! :)) I don`t want to be thäef advisor you know? :)
• You can speak German by uniting the songs you know:) Aahahahahhaha I did and it really worked. `
• Having doors in the opposite directions. In we have on the left.
• Having free chocolate when you buy coffee. -Even for to go`s-

As you see, I really enjoyed my stay in Vienna. I really really really thank you my friends Ilkan, Ilke Ersan! You helped me too much, you are the best! :))

Last of all, if you can be a good child you can even see the door of Wonderland in Vienna :))

To Begin with..

If you don't go for your dreams, you don't deserve dreaming..


Yesterday, my dear sister's friend visited us who we never met before. When she first saw me, she told me that she saw me in her dream before we met and she added, ''I saw you while you are travelling. You will travel a lot and write blog about your journeies.'' I got shocked when she told me this because we didn't know each other before and what she told me is my biggest dream or let's say it's my aim in my life. After she told me that I explained my dreams and I added that writing is not for me. She laughed and replied you will see, you gonna be and also if you can't start from somewhere you will be upset in your life and you won't be happy. In addition, ''You will be very powerful during your journey and this journey will determine your future for the next ten years.''

When I think about all this conversation, It really made sense. I turned back my childhood and remembered my dreams. I never dream of a diamond ring, a large house, kids surrounds me and so on. I only wanted to travel, see new places, meet new friends and do my job during my stays. When I grow up, I chose to be an art manager. It was a good idea because I like art, I have skill of selling things, last but a best idea of being and art manager is you travel a lot. So I made my plan for the new year. I will pack my backpack and travel Europe for the beginning.

Writing blog makes sense because, I don't have to be a best seller writer -Who knows maybe I can be in time:)- This is like chatting with friends. Plus, I will have new friends who follow my writings during my journey. Because of this, I had a new account and begin my blog now. This feels good.

Now it's time to make check list for my journey. What should I bring with me, what I will do during my trip. I think it's clear, I'm gonna hit the road, sell art works, jewelery I made, curate new exhibitions, meet new friends, artists, collectors, beautiful places, eat different dishes blah blah blah.

From now on, I think I start my journey, at least I have started to write. I will keep you updated fellas. Maybe we can encounter on roads :) It's time to enjoy a cup of hot chocolate prepared by me in front of beautiful view of my room :D Cheers you all..
